Default Interior Replacement Parts

First, let me say that I buy from several supply houses and have not been disapointed in the quality of any of them. I am ready to order carpet, door panels and seat covers and there is five to six hundred dollars difference in the price from Corvette America,Ecklers, Mid America and Rik's. I suspect they buy from the same distributor but I really worry about quality.
Can anyone give me their experience either here or at davidey@charter.net

Thanks, David

First of all welcome to the forum.
I'm in the same boat as you so you can bet I'll be glue to this thread. I think most get them from the same supplyer but not all. I know the plastic insert in the carpent of the driver side footwell varies between a few suppliers. I've ordered carpet from Mid America and it went in nicely. Good luck

The only place to buy seats and door panels is Al Knoch. Only the better parts catalogs carry them ore you can go direct. I felt saving $100 and getting cheap or ill fitting interior parts was not a wise decision. IMHO

I use Corvette Central and Paragon. Corvette Central sells Al Knoch. Good prices and good service. Paragon only uses top quality parts and checks all of them for quality.

I bought door panels (sometime back) and pre-stuffed 79-82 seat cushions from:
Gary at:
http://www.angelfire.com/mo2/Gruhala...ses/index.html

Good guy - good prices. He also has some used stuff.

I am about to buy a few odds and ends -(I'm changing my interior to black as soon as I get the Vette back from the AC shop - can't have black interior in Texas without working AC)--- back to my point: I found a couple of items in the Corvette Central catalog - www.corvettecentral.com - to be cheaper than Eckler's

good luck and welcome
