Default raced a rousch

i was in my dad's 1969 427/435 vette. i had to run into town real quick to get some stuff for my car which is a 1994 dodge stealth r/t twin turbo, well a yellow convertable rousch 2004 mustage pulls next to me, so of cousre i raced hime, did not get to go from a light but we went from 45 to bout 115 and i was pulling on him pretty good, by bout 3 car lenghts, what made this race so good was that is was an older man with some hot g/f in there, i bet that really hurt his wanna be car ego.....i hate muddstages btw

Next time I hope a cop catches you and confiscates your car. That's what they do in California. Be smart..race at a track.

Do it on the track. The street is not for racing.

Dangerousnes and leagality aside, maybe his father doesn't mind him racing the car. I don't think my father would mind. However I am different as I have the Corvette and he has the Stealth TT.

lol, the baseline roushe are a joke anyways. Basically just a body kit. The saleens are nice though. Especially the s351.

ehh race the hell outta em. can't post it here though. they have rules for the forum. I run ppl, as long as there is no one else around. Just can't say here. Saleens aren't that great btw. My boss has one and my bone stock 01' silverado beats it to 100 mph from a 45mph roll.

just remember. ppl are going to jail now for manslaughter and just about anything else for racing. in texas now you lose your license first time pulled over. the mods will lock this one prolly,

ohh and ignore dep, he thinks vettes are supposed to be trailered to the race track. he's right there with ncrs with me. two sides of a coin that are both necesary, but i care for neither.

I would tell my tale of a Stage II Rouch against my '91 Vette w/ LPE goodies, but the mods wouldn't like that story.

They way things are today it is true that it is best saved for the track.

Nahhhh....you can drive em to the race track (I can't, though). But do the racing ON the track. All it takes is one soccermom to pull out when you don't expect it and you and her and the car full of rugrats become all tangled up. If you are racing, YOU are gonna get the blame.

Yeah, i agree munday. Baseline saleens arent much either. Atleast their higher end are much more modded and quick then the roushe though. I think the saleen s351 runs somewhere in the mid 11s.

Yeah I would actually run someone by my house. I'm lucky if someone comes by every 30 minutes. As far as somewhere like the freeway???!!! If it's a straight shot and no one around, sure why not. If I want to turn myself into a greasy spot on the freeway, that's my perogative (sp) I just can't stand the z-28s and civics that come flying through traffic. If ppl want to break the law that is one thing....just don't do it when you are endangering others....including those in the passenger seat.

Stock saleens like the 281 are slow. My stock Bullitt was quite a bit faster too. They do look nice however. Only thing I can find different other than a GT is

Exhaust; Pulleys; stock gt intake; 3.73 gears; requires premium fuel (boss says for increased compression) Other than that the rest is looks, maybe some suspension. Saleens are the stickered up hondas of the v8 world. Kudos to the S351, but I have a better place to spend 55 g's, like putting it into my vette so I can smoke DEP, oh wait I just have to push my car downhill to do that. :P

He didn't say he WASN'T, but it doesn't matter. Ever hear of the Murphy Factor? If poop has any chance of happening..it WILL. Why do you think insurance rates keep going UP? The cop will STILL give you the ticket if you are in the middle of nowhere. Why take the risk? To prove what?

That's brillant! Lonely road hauling *** until a car pulls out on the other side of the hill or curve filled with kids. Good job!
