Default upper a-arm vs. radiator inlet

I've replaced the upper radiator hose with one of those nice stainless stl. coiled ones with end caps. I bent the hose out of the radiator inlet to give about 1 1/2" clarance above the LF upper A-arm. Is there much movement in the A-arm while driving to be of any concern? Why is the radiator inlet slightly on the loose side? I can move a little when connecting to the fitting. No leaks though. I'm thinking the A-arm doesn't travel that much upward from it's apex. I should put some powder on the arm cover to see if it ever gets marked.

Well the total movement of our suspensions is about 7" so about 3" from ride height. The portion of the upper arm (near the pivot) that protrudes into the engine bay is hardly moving at all. No worries there. Hopefully somebody will chime in on the rest.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking considering the design and also the close proximity of items on the right side to the TR a-arm.
My inlet isn't real loose, just not solid. '80 vette. No leaks. Right now I need to install a new alternator so I am wiggling the fitting abit to slip in the lower mount bolt.
