Speedo cable lube?

I've always used a graphite based lubricant especially for cables. It appears to be mixed with oil so you can squirt it into small places. The graphite won't dry out over time and keeps the cables from binding and squeeking. The hard part is installing the lube from the top...

White lithium grease worked for me. The graphite stuff worked for me for about three months before turning into some sort of hardened sludge. I am a year down the road with the lithium grease and all is quiet and smooth.
