Clutch Pedal
HELP!! The pin that connects the clutch pedal to the Z rod on my 79 broke off. It looks like the head of the pin is tack welded in. Is there any way to fix this without removing the entire assembly as well as the steering column?

Ooo, not good. You may be able to grind off the weld and remove the rest of the pin without removing the pedal assembly but I'm not sure where you are going to find another pin. You may have to replace the entire pedal. The pin should be 5/16" diameter item so maybe you can find one at an industrial suply of perhaps a good hardware store.
