I have a 2000 Milenium yellow I'm interested in and it's from out of the country. Maybe some of you saw it on Ebay for $9600.
I'm 99% certain it is a scam but I have to check into it. I've been getting very detailed emails from the owner.
I know I know - run away fast!!!!!!
International Auto purchases are the number one scam running. There was a thread about this detailing how the scam works a while back. Read it carefully. I wouldn't buy it unless I few out to deliver the check in person. Your saving enough to pay for a $1,000 airplane ticket no matter where it is. If it is international make the shipping arangements yourself. Don't buy the sad military story either....its crap.
I wouldn't waste my time "investigating" it or exchanging emails with the scammer. The "international" aspect makes it almost impossible to trace your money or get help from the authorites. Otherwise, there are many twists and turns and various ways they try to scam you out of money, property, bank account info, etc... Running a carfax proves NOTHING. They often just grab pictures and info from legitimate ads.
