hey guys.....something that i thought was an isolated incident happened twice yesterday.
when i approach a turn and drop to 2nd gear, half way through the turn the car stalls out. the engine seems to run fine....i never stall at idle, and if i come to a complete stop (say at a light) it is also fine. this has only happened during turns that dont require a stop, and that i down shift to 2nd for. any ideas?
What type of carb do you have? also stalling in a corner could mean improper float level adjustment, needle vavle could be clogged, as you go around the corner the fuel could be sloshing away from the jets causing it to die out. too low fuel pressure could also cause that but you would see it other places to not just around corners
