I have the entire interior taken out. I'm in the process of refinishing and repairing all of the interior plastic. What a mess it is. Navy painted white then painted black.
The seats are in good condition, however I'd love to upgrade. I know there has been a lot of threads on seat upgrades, although I could only find a couple in the archives. I'd really like to just bolt in if possible or modify without welding (I don't have one

Do the seats on ebay that say "Universal fit" really fit?

I have red exterior and was thinking of a red/black combo interior. It's a 77, so I'm not looking to keep original, but want it to look nice.
Thoughts?

I have '79 seats in my '76. Bolted right in, and a lot more comfortable, especially for the 747 (wide body) wife.

Thanks for the input. I do like the 79-82 seats. If they bolt right in, that would be a good alternative. As for the wife, I think I'll leave that alone, although I must say mine is more like a leer jet
I am a lucky man!!
