1982 engine swap

I am thinking about putting a new 290 hp gm crate engine in my 82. Does anyone know if my old crossfire stuff will work on this new motor? I want a few more horses but not really that many more.

I assume you mean the Goodwrench 350? If so then yes it will all bolt on.

Why not find a good place to store that original Crossfire and then go L98, LT1, or LS1 hunting?

Yes, you can put any "edit = older" SB under the stock crossfire setup, but if you may not get the full HP rating, because the stock crossfire injection intake manifold is very restrictive.

For a ton of information about the CFI, get registered on the Crossfire Foum.
