New member to the board, and this is my first Corvette. Looks like a great board, with tons of information.
Just yesterday I picked up my 1973 Stingray, T-top, 4-speed stick, 350. Looks all original with matching numbers. Appears to be in great condition, and drives great too. She has 43,000 miles, and I don't believe it clocked over. Think I got a good deal for $10,000? Had never driven a Vette in my life, and was only given a ride in one once when I was a kid. I had a great time yesterday cruising around, and with a big grin on my face. Felt like I was a celebrity with everyone looking at me. Got so many compliments on the car, everyone from friends, family, strangers, and even my ex-wife! My ex said "I don't get too excited about cars, but this is really awesome." And these two teenagers at the pizza shop were just going nuts over the car.
Today will be picture day. I'll try to post a few pictures within this thread later.
Glad I can be part of this board. I'm sure I'll have some questions, and hopefully I can contribute something as I learn more about them.

Congrats on the new car. Sounds like you have been bitten by the bug. Make sure to wave when you pass a vette. Looking forward to seeing the pics of your new vette.
I remember being bitten by the bug almost 30 years ago, a lady took me for a ride it a c3 bumper car at a race track in a heavily preped race car, then took my drivers test in a 1965,and have been hooked since that day, and I still have a vette today, dont drive it much, but whenever I have the need ,I go for a drive, and that calms me down for awhile.
