Default Head question..errr..a cylinder head question that is

I have an opportunity to buy a set of big block 3904380 oval port big block heads that are complete. One valve cover hole has been helocoiled and a few of the intake threads look kinda buggered up but not stripped. Dude says they ran fine when they came off his big block Nova. Mortec says they have 97cc chambers but has no info on intake or exhaust runner volume. I presently have 353049 castings.

Are these better heads than my 049s and will they support more HP?

Will they raise my compression ratio too high? My 049s have a 122cc chamber.

I don't know my present compression ratio but I run 89 octane with no pinging and could probably run 87. PO has no knowledge of motor but I suspect it's a stock, cast bottom end. I'm changing to a Comp XS274S or XS282S solid cam...buying a complete kit with springs, retainers, etc.
