I thought I had looked at door panels that have a plastic backing on them??
does anyone know about these or have used this type, seems this would last better then the formed cardboard type.
I need to buy a set for my sled.
any help is appreciated.

Ones I got from ZIP have plastic backing, fit was OK, had to put holes in for the windor cranks but no big deal.
All aftermarket door panels are going to be plastic backing. The cardboard hold moisture and deforms. The aftermarket are supposed to be a pain to fit, but wont warp with moisture.
Only the original door panels have a cardboard backing . The date of manufacture is stamped on the back as well. The factory had vapor/moisture barrier the protect the backing. Most are gone since they were a pain when servicing the door.
The plastic backing is better and even the vinyl is better formed then original but the fit can be a hassle.
Wait for a nice hot day and stick them in the sun to get hot. Then mount them and they will conform as they should.
