spark wire placement
Hello all, I just bought a 73 ttop 360/190 4 speed and am a bit overwhelmed. I have seen several pictures of spark plug wire placement on distributor and see #1 on both side of points window.
Can someone help me out?

All chevy V8 distributors have the #1 plug to the left of the window EXCEPT 68-74 corvettes where it is to the right of the window. The reason for this is to allow the distributor to be installed with the vacuum advance pointing to the side, not angled to the front. All of this is to give the tach cable a straight shot to the firewall. Joe
