Default Engine Mount Question

In the next couple of weeks I will be installing a new 440 horse small block crate motor into my 71. Does anyone think I need to use solid motor mounts with that kind of horsepower or will the rubber/urethane mounts work fine?

Wouldn't use solids on a street car. Polyurethene mounts will easily handle that power and more. I wouldn't use rubber if you plan on beatin' on it at all.

No need for solid mounts. I am running the poly mounts on mine and the yare holding up fine under lots of abuse.

I used new rubber mounts when I installed my engine. Destroyed the drivers side mount in no time. Replaced engine and trans mounts with polyurethane mounts and they have held up fine so far.
