Have studied the photos for about 3 seconds and can tell you all thats wrong with this Corvette - both the exterior and interior are NOT RED - big fault / problem.
Also. rocker covers are looking rather small for a 454.
When I looked at that car in the prior auction There were a few things I Did'nt like about it. The wheels dont look right on pre 73 cars,it's a non tilt column and I did not like the color. The hood fits in a hole that isnt the same shape as the hood. both front fenders have the wrong shapt at teh flare like they are built out of filler. The rear of the right front fender has visible damage showing through the paint. The rear cutouts for the exhaust is too small with no bezels. the right rear park light is missing lens. The right door meets the fender like crap. I think I see cracks in the right front fender in front of the eggcrate and at top of fender opening.Filthy interior. Wiper door stuck open. The door jambs dont match the extrior color. The console looks like someone touched it up with black paint pen. wrong radiator.the grilles fit like craaaap. I will stop now.
A few good points.... TWO fuel filters, you cant just go and buy one of those blue steering wheel covers anymore. I personally love the passenger door mirror... you can hardly tell LOL
The WORST thing about this car is some poor person is going to shell out good money for a junker
I'm guessing it's a 350. I think the intake on a 455 is wider.
Funny how they left out that little detail in the description. I guess "not original engine" means "Whatever we can get from the junkyard that runs for 195 bucks".

They could have been nice and picked out a SBC at least then you could mod it without refinacing your house to go fast.
Looks like an Oldsmobile engine with "C" heads (1968-69 Big block). Could be 400 CID if from a 442 or could be a 455 Toronado engine with C heads. Toronado 455's had 400 HP and 500 Ft lbs. torque. It also has a mid seventies recovery tank. Or it could be a mid 70's engine with C heads. Olds built the 455 from 1968 to 1976. The wheels are from 1976. Looks like it needs a paint job and at least an exhaust repair. The speedo is from 76 or later. Looks like a nice driver. Need work to be perfect, but what vette doesn't?
If your gonna put an Olds in it, do it right with a 700 hp 455...

Put in the 455 Hemi!
I don't think the guys who butchered up this car are that savvy. It's pretty tough to find any 455's anymore, especially with C heads. 400's are non-existent. I have a 455 Olds in my truck & it seams like the intake is wider. I should email the seller find out what it is
