Anyone purchased a set of redwall radials from a vendor besides Coker Tire? Were you satisfied with them? I'm looking to buy 4 new 235/60/15's, radial not bias ply. Brand is not important, I'm just trying to find a different place to purchase from.
Thanks,
Greg

I purchased a set of four red line tires from Diamond Back products for my 67' Coupe. Unlike Coker this company will build you a red wall tire to any size you choose. Here is their address and phone number:

I like the Diamond Back tires. I wasn't happy with the thin wall look of the Coker tires that came on my 67' when I purchased it a few years ago. I knew for the car to look better I needed to at least go with a set of 70 Series tires but couldn't find anyone out there that made a wider Red line tire (Coker doesn't) until I found out about Diamond Back tires on the forum. They will put a red line on any size tire including tires that you will send them. The price of their tires with redline are not cheap though. They sell for about the same price as a set of Coker factory style replacements. When I purchased mine they were going for around $160 each plus shipping. Thats almost 3 times more than one would probably pay for a equivalent 70 Series whitewall tire from a local discount tire club or store. If I remember correctly if you supply your own tire for them to redline they are getting about $75 apiece to do them in a redline plus the shipping to and from which could become costly unless you live close enough to drop them off and pick them up when done. You won't be sorry with your purchase. They will look nice on your car. If you want I could send you a couple of pictures by email of my 67' with the Diamond backs on for you to view. Let me know.
