test your memory & straighten me out
On a 1976 model what is the proper sequence for the seat belt warnings.
I thought when I turned the key on, the seat belt buzzer and the light on the dash that says fasten seat belts would both operate - fasten seat belt and both would go off at the same time.
That is my question. Why do I ask? The way it operates now is that the buzzer goes off when I buckle up but the lighted dash message stays on for a few more seconds, the same amount of time as if I didn't buckle up.
Now, tell me which way is proper.
