Default Finally, New Engine Installed In '75 Coupe...

Installation went very well. Picked motor off the stand, installed flywheel, clutch & pressure plate, bellhousing and transmission. Hoisted eng/trans high enough to clear front nose, gently "rolled" car forward with hands on the tires, lowered eng/trans as I brought the car forward and within an hour motor/trans were in place. Hooked up fuel lines, clutch "Z" bar, clutch pedal linkages, brake vacuum lines & such, throttle cable. Waiting on my rebuilt water pump from Gould's in NY. Still have to pull automatic shifter & console plate, install new Hurst Competition Plus shifter & rods & new 4spd console plate, starter, driveshaft, radiator & core support and distributor. At least now I'm getting real close-hope to be driving it MAYBE next week.

So, maybe I missed it.
Your sig says it's an auto ... did you do a 4sp conversion, also ?

Sounds like you had a very rewarding day. Hope the rest of it goes smoothly.
