Hurst Compeition Plus shifter. Do we need these?
I replaced my old Competition plus shifter with a new one. My old levers had these, Hurst calls them adapters, in the bolt holes. According to the Hurst instructions, you don't use them except for a Borg-Warner tranny.
What are you guys doing? Using these adapters or just the bolts?
Right now I left them out and there seems to be no problem.

I had the newer Muncie with bolts and did not use them.
