Interior Colors?????

Interior Colors?????
Help I am re-doing the interiior on my 77. When I got the car it had a white interior. Everything except the console which was black.
I stopped by a corvette shop the other day and he told me that a white interior was cosidered only the seats and the door panels and that everything else was black. Is this right? Where can i find out what color each part should be?

Neither are correct according to Chevy. White interior was not available except as a 2 tone. Evidently 2 tone interiors were available in at least 76 & 77 & at least there is 1 guy on the forum w/ one.
Have the 77 CORVETTE chart from CHEVY: Some combos were
"Available with White Seats, Door Trim Panels, Headlining, Front and Rear Garnish Moldings and Rear Quarter Trim Panels."

RED..................................... ..... White & Medium Red
WHITE, SILVER METALLIC, BLACK ... White & Smoke Gray
TAN BUCKSKIN ............................ White & Buckskin
LT.BLUE, DARK BLUE ..................... White & Dark Blue
Smoke Gray is listed as 152L. (Leather) Maybe the console was changed.
Maybe an early model & was listed for 76 or could have been a special order.
I looked at many 77s at the time & did not see any 2 tone interiors.
You might want to try the Factory correct forum.
I could not care less about stock so this doesn't interest me, just providing some info. from Chevy.

According to your trim tag codes your car was originally Classic White (10) which by the way was the most popular color that year with 9,408 units being produced in that color. The interior was originally Smoke Grey Leather (152L) according to your trim tag.

One other thing, I saw a really nice silver interior in a new 77 & thought about getting it. Silver interior is not listed for 77, maybe it was the one they called Smoke Gray, 78 was going to use silver so maybe they didn't want to call it silver.
You might want to give a link to the topic in the other forum in each topic.
Have some 77 info. on my website.

I've got white and red.
My trim plate says 10 paint (White)
Trim 712 Firethorn
I've haven't seen many cars with the 2 tone interiors. One will turn up at a carshow or on ebay every once in a while.

if my code is smoke grey and i have the white leather seats then maybe mine would be like yours ony the red would be the smoke gray instead. and that would make sense about what i was told about only the seats and door panels being white. is anything else in your car white?
