Water pump question
I have what I believe is the correct water pump for my 70 LS-5, casting #3940960 dated B11 70. This has the 5/8'" shaft. I have two pullys one two groove (5/8") & one three groove (3/4") neither one are correct. Given the cost of the correct pulley - $102 and water pumps I will probably switch to the later 3/4" shaft water pump.
Does anyone remember when this change was made? I think it was 72 or 73?
