Default What font bumper is this

Is this the original 75-79 front bumper or is it an 80 style on it. The reason I ask is because the lights in the grills don't look like 75 lights.

That doesn't look like 80-82 side marker lights to me, which had one yellow and one white lense, but more like the 79 back single yellow lense. And it looks like it goes straight across the nose without the jog in that all the noses since 75 have. I'd say it was a 73-74 nose just based on that. They're the only ones that went straight across the middle like that.

Am I smoking crack?

it's a retrofit nose, it replaces the stocck bumper so, unlike the 80-82 model it uses the early side markers that are part of the front clip, on 80-82 the seam runs alongside the front and the side marker is part of the bumper..that's where the difference comes from.

On this particular car it looks quite good but the pic is dark, IMO normally the retrofit nose looks silly because the sides on the older cars angle in too much, it just doesn't look quite right.

What if you molded the bumper in on a 75 which is what I would be putting it on. I think its the seam that throws it off but if it were molded in it might look different.

it's not just the seam, it's the angle on the sides, look at the differences between 80-82 and 73-79, there's a big difference. The 80-82 one doesn't bend inwards very much at all, whereas the earlie one does.
