Default Gage replacement

Has anyone out there replaced there factory gages with aftermarket gages?
I was thinking of replacing the ones in my 76 with white faced gages to update the look and add some brightness to my black interior.
Has anyone done this and if so what gages fit the best in the existing openings?

I went with Autometer Ulta-lite 5in for speedo and tach and 2 1/16 for the accessories. Mine are silver not white face, the "Phantom" series is the white face.
