Default Intake Manifold Gasket

Anyone ever change a intake manifold gasket on a '82 (crossfire injection), what to expect? About how many hours work? Prefered brand of gaskets?
I found a small antifreeze leak at the rear corner of the manifold on the drivers side.

It's not that hard, just take your time and it will be easy.

If you don't want to, or know how to re-tune the Throttle Bodies, and linkage, then be sure to remove the top plate without removing the throttle bodies (leave them bolted to the top plate, and don't tinker with the linkage between them). Also when you remove the top plate, one bolt in each throttle body goes all the way through the TB, and helps to hold the top plate on, this is the only bolt you should need to remove from the TB's.

After the top plate is off, the rest of the manifold is easy, just remove all the bolts to the heads from the inside and outside of the intake.

When you put it back together, be sure to use some thread locking compound on the bolts, they have a tendency to work loose. and the inside bolts are really hard to get to after you all done...

I ordered the gasket kit from Rockauto.com It worked just fine.

BTW, I just received a discount code to http://www.rockauto.com/

You give this discount code to friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.
- When someone places an order at www.rockauto.com and enters the discount code in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart, he or she will receive an immediate 5% discount on that order.
- The discount code expires on December 7, 2004; so don't wait!

Hope this helps some.

Thanks for the great instructions, I'll try and tackle this in a couple weeks.
