Hood lock mechanism help.
When i bought my 71, there was a small problem with the hood that caused it to be misaligned and not able to hold itself up. Apparently someone who went to look at it before me had tried to slam the hood when it was in the locked position effectively ripping the fiberglass that the hinge is mounted on. So now i carry around a stick to hold up the hood and i was wondering if there was away to fix up this fiberglass so it will support the hood again. I might be able to get pictures but not anytime soon.
