Hmm... someone must have been stoned when they made up that list. Must have taken a bunch of names of cars and randomly started picking. No vettes other then c2, no mustangs, no recent fbodies, viper is way up in #65, the miata beat out the ford GT.... something is seriously wrong.
Oh, and a question.. the Mosler Consulier GTP, isnt that the car that was almost unbeatable?

It's probably one of the worst cars ever, as is all other citroën junk. Some people swear by the hydraulic suspension systems on the larger models like the DS. The exterior is terrible, the handling also IMO but what really gets your stomach upset is the interiors. The DS is a common "classic" car here, a certain breed of French loving idiots drives those things and 99% of them are rust buckets that don't belong on the roads.
I'm sure they have their good points, like their 2 cylinder engine that puts out a whopping 29 horepower.

Nice to see Corvettes at the top, ahead of Ferraris, Lambos, and such, but... heck, that list is all over the place... One can blow a fuse trying to figure the logic behind it...

86. 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado (my car after high school)
75. 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 (my first car..okay mine had a 6 cyl)
72. Volkswagen Beetle (mine)
67. 1969-71 Mini Cooper (my brother's)

39. 1983 Volkswagen GTI (ex GF's car)
33. Renault R5 Turbo II (well mine was a Le Car, but still an Renault 5)
29. Jeep CJ (mine)
1. 1963-1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray (can I coat-tail on this one with my 79? I think so!!!)

Default No list of cars with a Citroen in it can be a list of cool cars

Ugly, ugly, ugly. The Citroen made the list, but neither of the following did. Both are way more cool IMHO. I ask you, what does Automobile know?

A very well thought out & pertinent post regarding sh1trons!
But what did I see at number 62? A Fiat 500?!!!! What Dingbat compiled that list? WTF is cool about a Fiat 500? I stopped reading after that point.
Tis a strange world we live in.

Aren't the founders of that magazine refugee's from Road & Track? If so, and I think they are, that explains the list to me.

Priceless.
I know the Daytona Coupe was designed by Pete Brock, and IIRC, he also did a lot of the work for the midyear Corvette. So, it's conceivable that the Daytona Cobra is actually a descendent of the Corvette!
