Even with a normal height, the Hookers very often require trimming of the rocker panel. Imagine taking the whole header and moving it straight up. You'd run into the frame.

That.....and you'll probably want good flow aluminum heads which will elevate the headers even more causing more trouble on the bottom.
....and you'll nee a higher hood so that you don't end up with a carb that tries to breath through 1/8" space up top
Tall deck blocks are 0.4" taller than standard, I believe.

A tall deck Big Block is only 1/8 inch taller, which pushes the heads apart 1/16 of an inch further than a standard deck block. They are taller and wider, but by small fractions of an inch. There should not be much of an issue to fitting the headers, it will be tighter, but I think it should be doable.
