I guess I'll have to weigh mine and then let you know. I'm guessing about 3,000 lbs.

Most anything you want to know about a 73' can be found at the following link: www.1973-corvette.com

Yes, I'd say there was such a beast, cause mine is almost exactly the same - only features are a radio and power steering.

By the way 73's are the best.

I also own such a beast. L-48 350 4sp. No power anything, no A/C. Hopefully, it'll have power brakes in the future but power steering would be a better option. And yes, 73's a a special breed and way cool.

Mine's a '70 and the only "power" I have is power assisted steering. Not many guys wanted all that sissy stuff back in those days - it took power and added weight.

You can check out other 1973 facts here:

Mine's a '73 - no power steering, has A/C, power brakes, 4 speed, convertible and radio. It's a base L-48 engine and is without a doubt the nicest car I have owned. Great head turner, rides nice and is a blast to drive.

All I have is power windows on my 73,, go figure but I love it just the way it is,, gives me a good reason not to let my daughter drive it,, I tell her its to hard for a young girl to drive lololl.

The base '73 coupe had a shipping weight of 3,326 pounds. Its curb weight was 3,407 pounds. Shipping weight is the weight of basic vehicle with regular equipment, including grease, oil, engine coolant to capacity and 4 gallons of gasoline. Curb weight is the same except with a full tank of gasoline.
