Default Interesting C3 I saw this weekend...

I went to Cruzin the Coast in Biloxi,MS this weekend(STORMED the entire time ) but snapped a couple pics none the less. There were several C3's there, but mostly Midyears and C5 and only seen ONE other chrome bumper C3 besides this one and it was a white '69 BB roadster for sale

The paint and interior were beautiful, but the 20in rims are a little too much for me.

Looks like the car has a Kiesler OD kit in it. The shift console is marked for a 5 speed. Nice looking car.

Nice car, except for the wheels that look more suited to a HotWheels car.

I would have been there in my 69' if I wasn't still waiting on tires to come in.

Perfect example of how to make your Vette look like a ricemobile with wheels that are too big :

You didn't miss anything to be honest. Had some nice cars, but more Chevelles. Mustangs and tri 5's more than anything. The rain sucked azz.

Me and the wife went thursday before the rain hit and seen some great cars. We have been going every year for the past 5 years and this show is only getting better with age. It is turning into one hell of a car week. I knew the rain was comming so we moved up our plans to get their before it hit. For those who have never been to this event it is on par with the HotRod road tour. Make plans to be there next year.

I also seen the vette with the 20's. It was at the Lawless painting booth. He does some good work but the rims killed the car.

I have to agree with everyone about those wheels. Samman has done a very nice job with his 68 vert. and 17" TII's, I don't remember hwo much he lowered the vette (2" I think) but it really looks and rides nice.

I was there with my '69, but left on Saturday morning, before the heavy rain set in.

Great car event, just needs to get through the whole week without rain.
