one headligt pops up @ high speed??

I have heard of wind popping the headlights up at high speed, but never heard of a fix. The problem could be a worn actuator though.

Both will pop up at 100+.....

We got our 79 up to around 100-120 (speedo was slipping so im not 100% sure of how fast we were going
) and they both stayed down, showed no signs of popping up either

Ive pegged out the speedometer and blew the stock clutch fan through the hood, and i have a video to prove it!

my headlights stayed down but one of the plexiglass t-top went airborne now that was exciting!!!!!!!

You may be missing or have weak spring on the headlight units. I would check. I changed mine and it corrected the problem
