Just bought a '72 Vette minus any interior and I'm wondering if I can fit a post '77 Corvette dash and door panels in a '72 Corvette? I really can't stand the thought of no glove box. Anyone ever done this?

Actually, there are a few things I like about the later model dashes like the location of the wiper switch and....ok, that's about it. Hey, it's my dreamcar I'm building here! I want a glovebox!!!

I haven't seen this done before, but can't see why not. I do remember when I bought my new '78 (first year the G-box was reintroduced) the statement being made that the heater / AC box was made smaller to accommodate the g-box. You may want to change both the dash and the heat/ AC unit to a later model. jim
The inner A/C box is very similar in size, however you probably still want to change to later style to match the controls because some of the vacuum controls are different. I bought a complete '80 setup for my '69 but ended up using a '72 inside box due to the controls.
