NEW 79 Ttop owner, squeaking?
Hello all, I've just started to play around with my new baby. New alternator/battery, going to look at interior when I put her away for the cold Canadian winter. (any suggestions or direction for this would be great.)
However, next thing I'm looking at fixing is a squeaking noise that sounds like a belt or bad bearing when the car moves. The noise increases with speed and seems to be louder in colder weather, which leads me to believe it's probably with the metal parts somehwere? You can't hear the noise outside as load as you can inside, which makes me think it may be just a fan, but why would it increase with speed??
I'm baffled, any help is much appreciated. I do love this car though, Thanks to all!!
