Default Vacuum question

I found a listing of all the hose lengths and color codes online. The only problem is that they only listed the sizes as small, medium, and large. What size hoses did the factory use? I would rather buy silcone lines in the right colors than get a kit of rubber lines.

The second part of the question: does anyone have or know where I can find information on the heater vacuum lines? I have an ok diagram around here somewhere, but no information on hose sizes, color codes, or lengths.

On the hose ID's...this is from the corvette 101 site.

VACUUM HOSES
DESCRIPTION: The vacuum system uses different sized black rubber hoses. Small hoses have an inside diameter of 5/32", medium 7/32" and large 9/32". The hoses should have colored stripes that correspond to colored paint dots on the vacuum system components. The colors used are red, yellow, green, white and blue. The red hoses are used to close the headlamp doors and the green hoses are used to open them. Yellow hoses are used for the vacuum supply or holding tank. The small white hoses are signal hoses; they signal the relay to open or close. The small blue hoses are used to connect the pull down switch with the headlamp switch.

Thanks for the info. I'd like to check out Corvette 101, but the site seems to be down. I've never run across that site in my searches for Corvette information.

Try this link. I just did and it seemed to work fine.

Just make sure your silicone hoses have a high enough durometer to handle 25" of vacuum. It'd suck to invest that much money into silicone and have them collapse under vacuum.

If I can't find exactly the factory size hose, is it better to go up 1/32" or down 1/32" in size?
