this should be my last Avatar change until my car is RED again!!!!
My new engine is IN!!! Sidepipes are ON!!
Other than Timing & Idle speed changes EVERYTHING has gone PERFECT since I got the waterpump sealed-up!!!
She lights the tires up in 3 gears outta 4 & runs perfect.... I've never had so much fun driving a car .... I should have bought a Corvette YEARS ago!!!!

You sound you are well pleased with the results. It is a blast knowing that YOU are the one that did all the hard work. I love it, going out and hitting the starter and it jumps right to life. Congrats on the hard work and getting the most out of it now. Enjoy!!

I Do.... I Love it!!!!!
People (my family & Neighbors) Thought I was NUTZ!!!!! Scraping the paint off with razor blades with 2 broken arms!!!
Then spraying epoxy primer recovering from 2 collapsed lungs!!!
I finally get back to work .... And in my spare time I'm building an engine!! ( I'm a GM Tecnician at a Dealer, The engine was built next to my toolbox in under 3 weeks.... waiting on PARTS mostly)
The week the engine was done I took her off the road & began installing the new motor & less than 3 weeks later SHE'S MY DAILY DRIVER AGAIN!!!
So far the ONLY thing I have not done myself was ...... Bleed the brakes!!!!! My 4yr old son had me in tears making "Corvette" sounds but he helped bleed the brakes!!!
