BB casting number question
Hi Guys I have a 396 that has 3856962 on the back left side. I can't find anything in searches. But that is the numbers as well as I can see them. Can anyone help me? Thanks

I think I found my problem the numbers must be 3855962
Found a 3855961 , this being a casting for 396 and 427 CI chevy truck blocks from 65-76.
Again, no match to your number.
