My big block I mean. 
Today, I put on a new Holley & fuel lines, new carb gasket and adjusted the hood again. I'm still short from closing the hood by about an inch. I can work on that later.
Result? No more miss, or stumble. There is a very slight hesitation off idle but I can live with that for now. Running thru the gears is sweet. In 3rd @3000 she just purrs.
I think the Holley is running ruch because now I'm getting a little black soot in the exhaust at idle. I can work on that too. This Holley is running right outa the box.
Today she was running like I thought she could.
I could feel the rear end trying to break loose a couple times.

Warning! It could happen in all gears except fourth!
