Park a 427 Cobra S/C next to Viper and see where the eyes go...
I see a lot more Cobra replica's around here than I do Viper's. And, sadly, they're owned by "40 going on 60 man"... I'm sure they're fun to drive (and insanely fast), however I can't imagine taking a date to dinner in one.
nothing wrong with owning a Viper. Keep in mind that the Viper was never intended to be a daily driver. You'lll still need a daily driver in your stable.
I don't have a commute (or a job), so a daily driver isn't necessary. Car is basically for cruising and a date-mobile. I'll probably put the same amount of mileage on it as my Vette (under 500mi./yr.).
Good for you!! My date mobile is my c3 which happens to either a bring the ladies in, or run them off due to the sound, heat/cold depending on season, and lack of decent sound system (sidepipes).
I also find that my tahoe does extrememly well also... maybe it is just me hahahah - just kidding...
