Default Which Headers work best with Steeroids?

Sorry guys I remember this being discussed a few months ago but I couldnt find the thread on Corvettefaq.

I dont really want to put a dent in my headers, since it kind of goes against why I fitted them in the first place, i.e. good exhaust flow equals Hp gain. but since I want steeroids and performance I ask the question again, since as I recall there was at least one that would fit without a ding in the header.

Hello mate,
When I bought my Headers (Dynomax ceramic coated) I checked if Steeroids would clear them & the info I was given was that they'd be OK (no hammers needed). I vaguely remember the Steeroids people having a list of what Headers cleared & what didn't (or that might have been something else entirely - the soft southern beer has addled my memory!), so it'd be worth asking them directly.
Really looking forwards to seeing your Vette when it's finished

p.s. Hope the weather there isn't too warm for you

I installed Steeroids last week.
Had my peeling Hookers out and blasted & painted.

Re-installed without difficulty.
BB with BB Hookers....

From the Speed Direct web site:

"Header Clearances
The following is a list of headers that our customers have told us have worked for them. Our systems are not limited to these headers by any means, but you can use them as a routing style reference for your own headers. It is the routing style that is important, not the name brand. You can look these up to see if yours have similar routing styles.
Corvette:

Small Block:

- Walker Dynomax - No Problem

- Black Jack - No Problem

- Flotech 11106FLT or 31106 FLT – Dimple Required in Drivers Side

- Hooker 2456HKR or 2456-1HKR Competitions – No Problem

- Hooker 2134HKR or 2134-1HKR Super Comps – No Problem

- Hooker 2224, 2224-1 or 2234 Side Pipes- Dimple Required in Drivers Side

- Hedman long tube with a 4-2-1 collector SB – major dimple required

Big Block:

- Stahl 2 1/8” fits – Fit with dimpling

- Stock Manifold – 454 No Problem

- Hedman 2” - Needs Dimple

- Hooker Side Pipes - No Problem
