Because someone messed it up, you should have a PCV on one side and a brether or a tube to the aircleaner on the other side (or a tube w/ a charcoal filter inline), the filter is there so clean air flows through the crankcase
Like there would be any noticable difference from that tiny amount of air, when you are at WOT (so when you want full power) the amount coming from the PCV is what ... 0.000001% ???
I have an exhaust scavenged system also, have had it for years, I built my own from those one way valves used on smog headers (82/84 & later TPI engines) and it works very well but it could pose problems with emissions if they are very stringent.
IMO that was a meaningless reply, only to "show off" what you have, the post was about his 2 PCVs not about what someone else has.

AMEN brother!
I'll second that AMEN bro! But Hey, some of us need the high post count to give the perception we know something about exhaust scavaging. Since i only run a PVC i'll just STFU.
I won't mention how a good operating PVC is really a control vacuum leak. And i won't say how the carb needs to be calibrated for this leak. Won't try to explain how the PVC is designed to seal shut when engine is off/no vac (or backfire) but regulates vac flow at idle/low rpm/hi vac for low flow - then moves larger amounts of airflow at WOT. Can't say then about why the PVC needs to be opened for hi flow at WOT to remove the greater amount of piston blow-by gasses in the crankcase at WOT. Better not mention a flow path is needed from one valve cover breather through the crankcase then back up through the PVC and into the intake. Now i also shouldn't say that breather is/can sometimes just plumbing to aircleaner for a clean air suction.
Won't try to confuse ya Andrew so i'll STFU. :o cardo0

Reason: Flow path
