Default It's just like Freakin Christmas!!!!!

I have been collecting and assembling parts for my new 383 for a couple of months now. In the last few days I have finally managed to complete the engine, and have just been waiting on a few other items before I started pulling the car apart.

This morning after running a few errands (picking up some parts) I just happened to be driving back past my house on the way to the office. As I zipped past in the vette I glanced down my street and noticed A Fed Ex Ground truck parked in front of my house and the driver carrying BIG boxes to my front door. At first I thought that it couldn't be my house, since I had everything delivered to the office, but I decided to make a U-turn just in case.
Good thing I did, because it was my house, and they were my boxes.

I'm not sure if I gave the wrong shipping addess or if someone slipped up when they filled out the airbill, but it doesn't matter because I was luckily driving by at JUST the right time.

MY NEW HEADERS ARE HERE, MY NEW HEADERS ARE HERE!!!!!!

And the sidepipes too!!!!

I was like 5 year old on Christmas morning when I was finally able to open those boxes after work today!

I have been collecting parts for my 383 for almost 2 years. Just missing some of the smaller items. I had to settle for ceramic coated headers and chambered exhaust. Santa is not quite as good to me!

Awesome. Enjoy. I've got a set on my list but they are quite a ways down the list.

They are Hooker sidemount headers and pipes. I bought them direct from Jet Hot coating with thier Sterling finish applied inside and out. I have heard nothing but good things about Jet Hot coating from other members of this forum.

Thanks for the comments, hopefully by this time next week I will be able to post a few pics of them installed on the car.
