Sadly, I think the paint is gonna hurt the resale on this otherwise pretty decent '68. Other than the carpet (shoulda been 80/20 loop, not cut pile. Didn't recover the rear compartment) and almost total lack of options, it looks real nice.
Way too expensive but I like the paint, would look great on my '79. Would be a great car if the paint/color was original ... it's a shame somebody did that to a '68 that appears to be original except for a few minor items.

It is so hard to get a good shot of dark colors. I wish it had some better shots of the car. I don't think it is too bad looking but the price is a little steep. The cost of that chromalusion is pretty darn high to begin with. No telling what he has in the paint and body work.
Gentry Lane, I've been there.. They are here in T.O downtown off of Dupont St.
I talked to a sales rep last week on a 71 Olds SX 455 in which they said it was all original...Then when I toke a look at it... it had a dual four barrel and an Offenhauser intake..electronic ignition, and so on...
and it needed a paint job...and he was asking $22500.00 PLEAAAZZEEE!!
They sell alot of cars...but I wonder if they take a look at the vehicles closely before they flip them again..LOL
It was at the RM classic car auction/show
I have a pic of it, turned out a bit blurry but you can see the chameleon paint better.
Will post soon
Although I think the price is also high, you guys need to keep in mind that the paint cost about $7-10 000 (last time I checked)
