Default What car is this?

My friend is going to buy this car. What is it? It starts to become very wide at the door, and the rear quarter panels back are HUGE. Any idea on year? Don't have any rear end pics, but it has 6 tail lights.

Engine plate says 360 hp, 380 tq, 350 ci, 11.00:1 compression. Any idea on that engine?

There were some flare or extension kits made way back when. A&A Fiberglass was one of the companies that made them. It looks like what might have been done here. I think we still has a set from my Dad's old speed shop if you want some!!

Definitely Greenwood flares on the rear. Looks like an older custom (that look was popular in the early '80's) with those wheels. How much?

Looks like the greenwood flares also used on race cars, I've been looking for those for quite some time and no one has them, the ones offered are not as wide as these.

How much do you think the car is worth?

It needs some cosmetic help (cracks, a few small chunks of fiberglass gone, ect)
Needs new carpet, seats, and more interior detailing.
However,
it has a well-built 350 with a 4 speed and hurst shifter
new tires (295/50s on back)
mechanically good
with the exception of a few small spots, paint looks pretty good

He was going to pay $5500 for it. Too much?

the car looks like a characture of a corvette. unless he's going to race it or build it to a full out show car, it looks like too much car for the money.

IMHO, he would pay more to make that car right (close to stock) then it will ever be worth. I would pass on that one.

No, Motion's were not like that...not even close....those are early-mid 70's Geenwood panels.

Although it has been customized far too much to tell for sure,
it appears to be a 74-77 coupe. 11:1 CR ? not in a rubber bumper.
The engine plate is probably BS. You can buy any plate from the catalogs.
A picture of the engine, VIN # and engine stamp will tell much more.

From what I can see, I dig it. Not too thrilled with the headlights or grill, but hey, it's different. I love the customs.
