Chromalusion pics...as promised

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
In the night time those emerald greens turn to deep purple in the same hues as they are emerald during the day!
I like the chromalusion as I can sand and touch her back up without anyone ever noticing the difference, unlike the clearcoated candies. It is expensive, but these paints compliment those C3 lines beautifully. I love it and would repeat it in a heart beat.
Maluminse,
The hood is a BB hood with the scoop part of a two piece mid year stinger scoop molded into it and cut for my K&N filter and K&N Xtreme top. I had to do this for the big block to be able to breathe properly as well as to fit the high Victor Jr intake.Yes and I like the look too
Onebrokensmile07,
You get that 68 and spend the next 10-20 years restoring or upgrading it, whatever tickles your fancy more!!! That smile will not be broken any more, I guarantee you that.
It's not about money, it's about enjoying and living the journey!
It's when you wake up from a dream while sleeping at night and smile when you realize that it is real indeed. You get up and walk into your garage and sit there in silence for ten minutes at three in the morning, then go to work to fix the car problem using that solution that your mind came up with while you were sleeping. It's that deep feeling of satisfaction at little goals achieved in that journey towards the bigger goal.
It's a hobby shared with others just like you, who appreciate the ups and downs the same way you do!

i agree its really cool looking paint!!!!!!!!!!!
one brokensmile07... this will be an addiction and heres a word of unsolicted advice... for the past 30 years i have been restoring cars... i have been happliy married for the past 20 years.... make sure that your future wife appreciates your hobby and is not jealous of it....all i wanted when i was 17 was to have a girl friend who wanted to hang out in the garage with me...and still do....
Say are those C5 wheels on a C3? You never know if those kind of date swaps will fit.ROH is a big wheel manufacturer in Australia.

I bought two extra wheels which I will fit on my trailer
once I have that painted chromalusion as well....
It's quite a bit of fun torturing and beating Donkey cars
off of the line with a fuche trailer in tow
Aren't those pics taken at Signal Hill in St, Johns, Newfoundland? My wife was born and raised in Corner Brook and went to shcool at MUN. We were there on vacation just last summer -- we left my '77 far behind and let the airlines try to get us there (air travel from Texas to Newfoundland is another story all together).
I've never passed a change to check out your car and too, was interested in the hood -- love the paint.
Is Newfoundland home or did you take the ferry ride to get there?
Ronnie

Yes, that is Signal Hill!!
Let me know when you guys are in St. John's again.
I'll take you guys out for dinner or to my house for a BBQ whatever you like!
As far as travel goes, just fly to Toronto. From there it is APOC to get to St. John's, NL! To Corner Brook is an entirely different story....
You will love the Vette even more in person! Quite striking and the BB sounds the part too.
I know just how ridiculous that sounds -- but here in central Texas we may see real snow every couple of years (mostly it just rains and then freezes solid).
There was still an iceberg there and one in Spaniards Bay when we were there --- we took the Scademia out to see one as up close as they would allow. It gets mighty cold out on the water -- luckily I had my native tour guide (wifey) with me.
Best vacation I ever took -- Newfoundland is great --- but every one keep telling me I had an accent.... go figure.
