Pulled 4Spd Trans Out, Repaired Back In, Not Yet Driven...
Took the Borg-Warner Super T-10 out of the '75 coupe today, fixed the grinding going into 2nd, already put it back in-still have to get car down off of jack stands before I can drive it.

Paul, what was the fix? I have grinding going into first if I'm not completely stopped.

Mine was grinding going into second-except that it would never fully engage into second. Mine had a problem my rebuilder has never seen before, but your shifter fork shafts(shafts that go through the case cover) have these ends that have three detents on each "shifter dog" I think there are called. Well, there is a little plunger in between these shifter dogs that has one ball on each end with a spring in the middle. This cylindrical plunger needs to move freely so the ball can go into each "detent" as it goes into any particular gear. This cylindrical plunger was a little mushroomed on one end not letting it slide back & forth freely as each gear is "detented". This device is what lets the tranny sorta "click into" or "ratchet" gear. My tranny would'nt "click into" 2nd. Seemed like the shifter would only go "part way", which it actually was.

My first gear did that before I installed a Hurst Comp Plus. Now I just have the grinding. I need to replace the side cover gasket anyways.....ugh. I swear I'll never drive this car agin
