What do you think of this full set of rotors?

Sounds like a good deal. Stock ones cost at least that much!

They are probably Chinese made. Looks like the warranty will get you a replacement set of the same junk.

I am pretty sure that JC Whiteny sells them for about the same.

My dad always told me to never skimp on tires and brakes.

Do you really want the cheapest brakes you can find on a high performance car?

You can get good rotors for $60-$100. Just shop around.

You can get good rotors for less than that.
rockauto has Raybestos (all I use in all my cars).
stock type rotor (PGPlus) is twenty something each
drilled and slotted (Brutestop) is 52 each

... and they don't list a Corvette in the 1983 section.

Their feedback is only 44 but 100% positive, they have these rotors for my Camaro for $179 F+R ... I might buy from them.....
The AutoZone rotors that I installed on my Z28 are probably also made in China but better than the cheap warping rotors that Chevy installed...

I purchased a set just a couple of weeks ago from a different seller. There are several sellers on ebay selling corvette rotors. Most if not all sellers are in California, closest mainland state to China. How well they perform and last is unknown. I still have the original rotors which have never been resurfaced so I still have the option of putting them on if need be.
I know it is risky, but I don't know for sure if the more expensive rotors are going to be any better than these. From what I have read the Chinese steel is better than what it was in the past decades.

The steel can be better, but if the casting sucks it won't matter. I bought a set of chinese rotors for my Lincoln. They lasted (count'em) ONE DAY before two of the four were warped and visibly cracked. I'm still trying to get my money back and they left me negative feedback for complaining. The expensive ones I replaced them with (Brembo) are still going strong.

I would run away screaming.

Just my opinion...
