Paint on a C3
Saw a silver 75. The rear panel is a different shade of silver than the rest of the car. Is this something to be expected because they have "rubber" bumpers? Is it more noticable on the lighter colors?
Would a fresh paint job eliminate this?

The paint does fade differently on the front and rear bumpers than the rest of the car because the bumpers are urethane while the car's body panels are fiberglass. I believe some of the aftermarket places (MAD, CC, Ecklers, etc) sell fiberglass bumpers so the paint will fade along with the rest of the car. But these bumpers are like egg-shells. I don't think they will survive even the 5 mph test.
