Hi all,
I wanted to show all you my fan. I know it's not much but when your Vette is as far as mine from being done every little thing helps. This is a 7 blade fan, it didn't come with the car but is the 7blade stock?

Hello,
I am guessing from your email name that you have a 73.
I checked on a couple of web sites and it appears that 73 vettes did come with 7 blades. I looked at 2 aftermarket retailers that showed photos of fanblades in their catalogs.

Thanks for checking,
When I got this fan it was all black.
After 2hrs of cleaning, 30min. of taping off, shooting the blades letting those dry. then taping off the blades & shooting the rest (this is the color I'm painting my Vette) I was done.

Stock should be a clutch fan, not flex fan. Some people have complained that their flex fan led to cooling problems, while others dont seem to have the problem. Just a heads up if something goes foul. Oh yeah, looks

now do your self a favour - put it in the nearest trash can !!!
That type will rob you of at least 30 bhp - from my research, unless you want pretty not go-go.
If you live somewhere hot - go electric,
