Rocker panel install question
Can someone tell me the best way to install rockerpanels on a 68 with hooker sidepipes? Is cutting necessary? How does the fit work with hookers coming down under the panel? I really want to avoid any rattling.

Some need cut, some don't. If it needs to be cut, make a cardboard template of the forward 1/4 with at least two or the front screw holes. Trim/fit/trim/fit the cardboard untill you achieve a nice fit (1/4" clearance around the tubes will due). Do both sides and transfer the template to the rocker panel and cut. Use masking tape to protect finish untill complete.
