Just picked up first Vette!
Wanted to indroduce myself.
I'll get pictures on here ASAP.
I just bought a 1980 L-82. It's my first and I'm psyched. I've always wanted a Vette.
The body is in unbelievable shape (from Florida). No dings, no dents, no scratches. New bright blue ("Warp speed Blue") paint job. The interior has brand new Oyster leather seats and new carpeting. Though their is definately some work to do (power door locks not working, no female end for seat belts, gas guage isn't working). I will have tons of questions for all of you.
The seller seemed to be a straight shooter. I'm not sure if I'll ever really know if the car really has 31k miles. He insisted that was the true mileage. The title says it has 31 k, so I believe it.
I'll be storing it for the winter (live in Boston).
By the way, this site is awesome!!
