MassVette, don't you have a ROD in one of your cars? Did you use the BTO 700R4 crossmember?
Yep- you've got a GOOD memory!
Actually, they're in both 'vettes. The '79 had a removable crossmember, which made it lots easier. We just welded in a lower mount.
The 67 is a fixed c-member, so I installed the ROD when I put in the engine. I'm gonna make the '67 a removable crossmember too, though. It's much easier to do maintenance that way.
The really good thing about the Bow Tie c-member is that you can run any size or config. exhaust under it!
And Kiesler sells a crossmember kit for the TKO. I just don't like their wide ratios.
